We accept two options for payment plans: Care Credit and Scratch Pay.

Care Credit (https://www.carecredit.com/go/XTN965/) works like a credit card. You can only use Care Credit for health related expenses, but you can use it for both yourself, family or pets alike! Simply go to their website to apply.

Once you have been approved*, you will receive an account number. This is all you need to pay for surgery. On surgery day we will email you a link so you can process they payment online. *If your approved credit line is less than the surgery cost, you will have to provide the difference with some other form of payment at time of check-in for surgery.

Care Credit has multiple payment options. Here at Veterinary Surgical Solutions, there are three of these we can accept: 6-months no interest, 2-year fixed APR and 3-year fixed APR.  Care Credit will tell you what their current APR’s are.

Scratch Pay (scratchpay.com) is not a credit line/credit card, but a loan for a specific event. To apply, go to their website.  During the application process, you will choose the clinic where the funds are to be used–choose “Veterinary Surgical Solutions”. Make sure to apply for the high end of the surgery estimate we quoted you. If approved, they will offer you a few payment options. Once you have chosen an option, Scratch Pay will then automatically send us a notice that a loan has been pre-approved for surgery with us. The loan is not yet final until we acknowledge the actual charges (we’ll know these on surgery day). You will receive a receipt once we have done this.

Like Care Credit, if you are approved or otherwise choose a loan amount with Scratch Pay that is less than the surgery estimate or actual surgery charges, you must provide the difference during check-in for surgery.

If for any reason you are not approved, you can ask a family member or close friend to apply and you can use their account.
